Question Mark Roach

Therea olegrandjeani

RoachintermediateHarmlessCommunal OK

No venom, no sting

Pet and feeder roaches are harmless to humans — no venom, no sting, and no meaningful bite. Wash your hands after handling.

About

A close cousin of the domino roach with a bold question-mark / comma pattern on the pronotum — another prized ornamental display species. Care is effectively identical to the domino: burrowing fossorial nymphs need a few inches of coco/sand substrate, adults are fast surface runners, and the colony breeds slowly. OMNIVORE feeding (chow + produce). Harmless.
