Care Guide
A small, attractive Amazonian ground-dweller with a reddish carapace. Generally docile and stays out in the open once grown, though fairly skittish as a youngster. Likes a somewhat humid setup โ keep about half the substrate damp (never swampy) with a hide and a water dish. Must be housed singly (cohabitation leads to cannibalism). New World: urticating hairs, non-medically-significant venom. A good, hardy beginner species.
โ ๏ธ Safety Information
