Care Guide
A shy, beautiful Caribbean pinktoe. Like all Caribena/Avicularia, ventilation is everything — high humidity (75-80%) MUST be paired with strong cross-flow or stuffy warmth will kill it. Tall enclosure with plenty of vertical structure and plants to build a silk lair. Docile but skittish; has urticating hairs, mild venom.
⚠️ Safety Information
Urticating Hairs
This species has urticating hairs that can cause irritation if handled. Use caution during maintenance.
Venom Potency
Venom is not considered medically significant to humans, though reactions may vary.
