**Purple Pinktoe** — A stunning arboreal species with deep purple-blue coloration on the body and vivid pink toes. Care is very similar to *A. avicularia* — requires a well-ventilated vertical enclosure with plenty of anchor points for webbing. Cross-ventilation (top and sides) is essential to prevent stagnant conditions that can be fatal. Does not flick urticating hairs but may spray defensive feces when threatened. Fast mover. Requires consistent high humidity but must not be kept in stagnant air. Provide a cork bark tube or artificial plant structure for webbing anchor.
