**Costa Rican Orange Mouth Tarantula** — Named for the vivid orange chelicerae (mouth area) visible when the spider is in threat posture. A striking Central American Psalmopoeus with typical genus characteristics: fast, defensive, and no urticating hairs.
⚠️ VENOM WARNING: No urticating hairs; relies on speed and venom. Handle with extreme care; bite reports indicate significant local pain. For experienced keepers only.
Care mirrors P. irminia and P. cambridgei: warm conditions, moderate humidity, vertical arboreal enclosure with cork bark and web anchor points. A prolific feeder and active species. Less commonly kept than P. irminia but an excellent addition for collectors of the genus.
