**Straight Horned Baboon** — Like its relative *C. darlingi*, this species has a foveal horn on its carapace — the function of which is still debated in the scientific community. The 'Straight' in its common name refers to the horn being more upright compared to *C. darlingi*'s curved horn. An obligate burrower from drier southern African regions. Defensive but slightly less reactive than *C. darlingi*. Provide a water overflow near the entrance to the burrow rather than a standing dish — wet substrate at depth keeps the animal hydrated naturally. Heavy webber.
