Care Guide
A docile, hardy Grammostola endemic to the grasslands of central Argentina. Calm and usually out in the open, making a nice display animal; a so-so eater that copes well with long fasts. Keep on mostly dry substrate with a hide and a water dish at room temperature. Note: the species is IUCN-listed as Vulnerable in the wild, so favor captive-bred stock. New World: urticating hairs, non-medically-significant venom. Easy beginner care.
