Care Guide
**Fort Hall Baboon Tarantula** ā Named after Fort Hall (modern Murang'a) in Kenya. A brown/tan Pterinochilus with the typical genus attitude: fast, defensive, and web-crazy. Less flamboyant in coloration than P. murinus but equally fierce.
ā ļø OLD WORLD SPECIES: No urticating hairs; potent venom. For experienced keepers only.
Dry conditions identical to P. murinus. A prolific webber and tunnel builder. Less commonly kept than its orange cousin but increasingly available from captive breeding. Good for keepers wanting to explore Pterinochilus diversity beyond the classic OBT.
