**Golden Blue Leg Baboon** — One of the most visually stunning African baboon tarantulas. Adults display a golden-yellow carapace and abdomen with iridescent blue legs — a combination not seen in many other species. Comes from cooler, drier South African environments — keep temperatures lower than most tropical species (68–75°F is ideal). Old World species with no urticating hairs; defensive if disturbed. Fossorial — provide compactable substrate at least 4 inches deep. Slow grower. No medically significant venom reported. A truly rewarding intermediate species.
